This course meets the NAR Quadrennial Ethics Requirement!
This REQUIRED course meets all of the requirements for the 3 hour Ethics course requirement. The purpose of the course is to ensure licensees have a strong understanding of Texas real estate ethics in an effort to avoid unethical behavior in their real estate practice. The includes the Canons of Professional Ethics, agency relationships, offers, disclosure, agency and intermediary practice, advertising and dispute resolution.
Course approval number for 2008 is 03-03-129-6505.
PLEASE NOTE: TREC requires that your start date and end date for the MCE courses be at least 24 hours apart. For example, if you enroll today at 10:00am, you cannot finish until 10:00am tomorrow. If you finish prior to 10:00am tomorrow then the course WILL NOT COUNT.

Online Courses: These interactive courses are accessed via the Internet and can be enjoyed whether you have a dial up 56K or high speed connection to the Internet. Internet Explorer (PC) versions 5.5 or greater is recommended and supported. We also support Firefox (PC & Mac) & Opera (PC & Mac) browsers. We do not support IE on Mac, Netscape, or the AOL built in browser.
The courses include a series of units, varying in quantity by title with periodic true/false or multiple choice questions that check for understanding of the material. Units conclude with short self-correcting quizzes of typically 10 multiple choice and/or True/False questions. They can be repeated as many times as necessary until they are successfully passed. You may log in and log out of the course as often as you like enabling you to complete the lessons whenever it is convenient for you. Once the course is completed The CE Shop team is automatically notified of the completion.
